Chamber of commerce names Daily News of Galveston as its Business of the Month

Officials of the Texas City-La Marque Chamber of Commerce posed Tuesday with employees of The Daily News, which was selected as the organization’s Business of the Month for May.

Texas City-La Marque Chamber of Commerce named The Daily News (Galveston, Texas) its Business of the Month for May.

Chamber officials and newspaper employees gathered Tuesday on the steps of The Daily News building for an official presentation and photo.

“We are incredibly proud of the service and commitment The Daily News provides to our members and communities,” said Tim Culp, president of the Texas City-La Marque Chamber of Commerce. “Not all communities have a newspaper like this — we are truly fortunate.”
